Janice Tippett
President/CEO
Her passion for marketing and determination to help clients succeed led Janice to expand her business over the years to provide a complete range of marketing services. That one-woman basement design studio has evolved into a $3 million-plus marketing firm with 20 employees in a 10,000 square-foot, company-owned facility.
As Millennium’s visionary, Janice continues to ensure Millennium is a leader in customer service and creative solutions. Her drive for excellence has contributed to numerous awards for Millennium, including: Maryland’s Minority Business Enterprise Award – Top 100 Best in the Business 2006; Maryland Chamber of Commerce 2004 Small Business of the Year, and Baltimore Smart CEO’s Future 50 of Greater Baltimore’s Fastest Growing Companies 2004.
Grateful for her good fortune, Janice makes giving back to the community a high priority. She’s an active volunteer for Howard County’s American Heart Association Annual Heart Ball’s Silent Auction. Millennium also provides print sponsorship for the Ball. In addition, Janice and co-owner and sister, Jody, have donated a digital printer to a developmentally challenged man setting up his own print shop. Janice, Jody and Millennium also award an annual scholarship to an outstanding fine arts student at Long Reach High School in Columbia.
Having built a thriving business from a single-woman enterprise, Janice is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience to help others grow their own businesses. She strives to educate local businessmen and women through regional business events and at Millennium’s own thrice-yearly marketing expos and quarterly lunch-and-learn meetings.
Janice’s commitment to her ideals, her employees and her community have given rise to more than a successful business; through Millennium Janice also has created lasting friendships, experienced personal growth and established an atmosphere of creativity, caring, and professionalism.
