Jody Franklin
Vice President
Throughout her career, Jody has received numerous awards and recognitions including the highest award given to civilians: the Meritorious Civilian Service Award, Superior Civilian Service Award, Commander’s Civilian Service Award, Information Management Director’s Award for Customer Service, and the ARL 8th Honorary Award for Teamwork.
Since coming to Millennium Jody has been dedicated to ensuring Millennium’s accounting and financial practices provide stability, profitability and growth. Her efforts have resulted in Millennium moving ahead of its competitors and staying on the leading edge of technology. Jody also works to provide employees with benefits they’d expect from a bigger company. As a result, Millennium was recognized three years in a row Best Workplace in America. In addition, Millennium has been recognized locally and nationally for outstanding customer service, a direct result of Jody’s commitment to providing customers with outstanding customer service. Finally, as an avid believer in giving back to the community, Jody and Millennium offer support to a wide variety of non-profit organizations including the Howard County General Hospital Heart Fund, Howard Hospital Fund, Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource Center, Holly Atkins Fine Arts Scholarship, and the Providence Center.
An important aspect of Jody’s life is family; she and her husband have been married for more than 26 years. They have two children – Justin, who is attending York College (a drama and arts enthusiast who plans to graduate in Spring 2009 with a double major in marketing and management) and Jessica, who after graduating high school in Spring 2009, plans to attend Salisbury State University (a sports fanatic in field hockey and lacrosse, Jessica is studying to be a Physical Education Teacher), and a spoiled Maltese named Roxie.
